Calculation assumptions:

The calculation of the short-circuit current is carried out in accordance with IEC-EN 60909 under the following assumptions, considering only radial networks.

The short circuit is considered far from the generators
The direct and inverse impedances are assumed equal (Zd = Zi)
The short circuit occurs isolated from earth (Zh = ∞)
Two-winding transformers are considered
The contribution to the short circuit of other loads (motors, etc.) is not included

Calculation criteria

The conductor temperature for the calculation of the maximum short circuit is 20 °C
The conductor temperature for the calculation of the minimum short circuit is 250 °C
The affected conductors belong to the same circuit
The impedance of switchgear and other auxiliary elements is not taken into account
